I never ducked retreat. No one time ever.Trust me, every soldier, Marine, Airman, Sailor whatever has at one point or another tried to make it indoors before morning or evening colors started. The dumb part is telling the world about it.

why would she volunteer if she doesn't give a **** about our country? she should be dishonorably discharged.
Wow, really? A felony conviction on her record for ducking retreat?
A dishonorable discharge is not a felony conviction.

well, not all of them any ways.
Hell no! Don't let her out. Send her to Afghanistan and maker her burn the latrin cans for the rest of her time in...
Granted a felony will garentee a DD. But a DD is not a criminal conviction of any type.
A dishonorable discharge is not a felony conviction.
It's treated as one by many, if not most, states, as well as fed.gov. Among other things, a DD is a preclusion to firearms ownership. 18 U.S.C. 922 (g)(6).
Further, a DD can only be handed down by a general court martial, so there would have to be some underlying UCMJ offense to give her one.
Is she a jerk? Yes. Should we treat her like a felon? No.
