No, but the fact is they have become representative of Hate. It just has, and all the explanation of "what it really stood for" in the world is not going change what most people (of all races) see in the Stars and Bars. You can lament the unfairness all you want, but the KKK appropriated that symbol and it now is what it is. It's common knowledge that the Swastika was both a Native American and East Indian symbol for thousands of years before Hitler used it, yet what business or group in the world would adopt it as a symbol now? I don't agree with the suspension, but if you all really believe that most people nowadays do not find the Confederate Battle Flag to be a symbol of hate, then you are dreaming.
