I think they face criminal charges if caught open-carrying on campus. If I remember correctly, it is only conceal carry allowed.

Yes. And don't give credence to that type of thinking, because that's exactly what the protesting teachers WANTED everyone to think. As if you're going to put a gun in the teacher's face if they ddn't get the grade they want and the teacher would have no legal recourse...

As if a student WOULDN'T/COULDN'T already do that if they were agitated enough, you know, because of those magic signs on the door. Those are the type of unstable people the law is trying to allow others to protect themselves against.
