Wait, you had to show ID????

Wait... yesterday was an election? There was voting?

There was, and I did! These people know me as I am best friends with one of the election board members son, the other has worked with my mother for 20 years, and to top it off my mother was running the other precincts election about 15 feet away! Still made have a valid ID to vote.

I guess I can see where you knew about it. I honestly didn't though. I mean... I know November is a big election coming up. But I didn't know yesterday was any kind of election. Didn't see any signs out or anything.

Actually the only thing that tipped me off and the only thing on my ballot was that the school sent a robo call out asking us to vote for them to go into debt to get new buses......:angry3:

They have 3 that don't get used....one tour style bus that only goes to basketball games.....One that sits at the early childhood center to drive the pre-k and kindergartners the 3 blocks back and forth to lunch everyday (seriously that is the only thing that bus does) and 2 diesel buses that are 7 years old with "nearly a 100K miles on them." Those last two are the ones they want to replace. My thoughts were a diesel bus with an Allison automatic ought to go 300K easy with maintenance. But they don't want money to maintain them, country roads I can understand suspension work as well as other things, they just want new ones.

It is that so many people claim that their vote doesn't count that causes these problems. Have you all any idea how close some of those races actually are. I work with many young people that aren't registered to vote because "what does it matter, my vote doesn't count for anything anyway"

Your vote for president doesn't, unless you vote with the majority in your state. Otherwise, they change your vote to whomever the collective drones in line for.

I don't see how anyone could look at these results and not understand how every person voting their opinion has potential to skew the outcome.
