We've found .45 bullets on the tarmac at TUL as well. I investigated a bullet impact into a hangar on the North side of the airfield. It was a .40 180gr bullet that came through the roof and landed on a workbench. It came from the South, not the North.

USSA isn't that much further away from the airport as well. Probably not within range of a 9mm or .45 ACP, but certainly within range of most rifles.

That sucks. My brother is a member of a very nice range near St. Louis, it's been there for years. Someone developed some land around there and built houses, people started moving in and voicing their concerns about this same thing and now the range's future is in question.

Mabey they should talk to the guys that were involved in the shooting in Tulsa this morning.

I know when they build the MDE Casino the security officers heard gunfire every night down the hill.

That too bad but I can understand Tulsa ANG's concern. They have a lot of staff out there not to mention a few million dollars in aircraft. Hope everyone can arrive at an agreement.

There are more than a few skeet snobs at TGC that have been itching to get rid of the pistol shooters and this situation plays right into their hands. The sad thing is that club has a great history but the fudds are strangling it. A few years ago when the price of clays went up dramatically they did not increase skeet range fees, instead they doubled the pistol range fee to $2 per day.

Yep. That club is ruled by fudds. Sadly, it's not the only club like that around these parts. :lookaroun
