Had an awesome time as always ! Didn't buy a thing sadly. Saw only a couple I was interested in and couldn't strike a deal. Oh well there's always the spring show. I guess I'll just keep saving. Unless I happen across what I think I need before then. Thanks to all who attended and made it the most bad ace gun show on planet earth.

Had a great time setup at the show. My feet hurt but it was worth it.

Thanks to Mark's Firearms to making room for me setup in his island. Mark is a great guy and you all should buy his gear. First class all the way.

It was great meeting and/or talking with RePete, Nighthawk, J&K Bullet Casters, Honeybee, Victor152, JKClay, Hipshot, Uniquediversity, SgtMojo, MoBoost, Elcabob, Been, Badger, 870Wingblaster and my apologies to everyone else I met that I might have forgotten their screen name in all of the hustle and bustle.

Saw Honeybee on Sat but missed him and his lovely wife on Sun while I was out looking around a little. Passed out a few of his cards, so y'all go see him over at his shop and have some high quality gunsmithing done too.

Good time talking to Hipshot and good luck to him on his new store in Catoosa too!

All in all, it's that show that just has so many cool things that you don't know where to start and you'll never see everything. I enjoyed the time and looking forward to the next one too.

Glad to hear that, unlike in the other thread, some folks enjoyed the show and got some good deals. I didn't recognize anyone from OSA while at the show, but then again, my attention was on the milsurps and Ruger Mk II's on the tables I passed, and on the lovely examples of the other gender that were in attendance :wink2:

I had my eye on this one M1 Garand my buddy had on Friday during the setup, but since I had already traded for another M1, I promised myself I wouldn't buy the second one until I had sold all my wares. All day Friday and on Saturday morning, people examined that M1 while I watched, and I sold my stuff piece by piece... finally, I was down to the last, and most expensive, item, and while this one guy was seriously examining the M1 and asking my buddy all sorts of questions, someone came by to ask if I'd take a check for the final item. When I said I took cash only, he said he'd check with his wife and be right back. At the same time, the one prospective buyer put down the M1 and moved away a bit to make a phone call. I picked up the rifle, and while holding it, I looked up in time to see the one guy say into his phone something along the lines of: "Yeah... uh huh... yeah, it's a really nice one... OK, will do." He came back to the table, hesitated when he saw the rifle was missing, and asked my buddy where it was. When told I was holding it, he asked if I was going to buy it. My buddy turned to me, and I said, "I'll take it."

The look the jilted buyer gave me :grumble:

The other guy came back 20 minutes later and bought my final item with cash. So it all worked out

Thought it sucked... Did anyone else see the 750 dollar g23 w/ nite sights?
I didn't see that but I am sure it was there though! I did however see a Gen3 Glock 19and 30 ANIB with nite sights for $400.00 each. Also saw an H&K USP .45 very good condition for $550.00,

Do you mean New In Box or Like New in Box? Were they a local dealer?

I had a great time at this show. Since the April show, I've really found the world of HK Roller Locks and with RTG Parts, HK Specialist and others there, I cleaned up on parts. JK hooked me up with my lead while Powder Valley delivered a load of primers and powder. (It'll be a good winter) My buddy picked up a nice G27 with night sights, mags and box/papers for $450 as well as beautiful 870 that had been converted to an 8 shot defense shot gun. The wood was beautiful and the factory engraving really makes it unique.

I thought there were tons of deals to be found. Just had to look. I saw the usually highway robbery, but there was a lot to like.

Did anyone stop by HK Specialist and look at the KelTec 14 round Shot Gun? He had one on display, not for sale!!!
