Good job Okie! Gotta love those late morning greenheads that save the day.

Nice limit there Elkstalkr. Never even had a chance to shoot one. I very rarely even see ANY divers at the spots I hunt. Ringnecks are about the only ones, and I haven't seen many of them either the past couple seasons.

Yea goldeneyes solely stick to big deep water. It’s very rare you see one on any small body of water. These were taken on the Missouri River. And they are very late in the season ducks. The colder and nastier it gets the more likely they are to show up.

Not a 4 man limit but fun all the same. Once the fog rolled in that was it. Daughter was 5 for 5, not so for the rest of us lol.

Pretty much all birds not flying this morning during to fog I guess. Hardly any other shooting heard and took four hours to take these 8. Got hungry and we packed it up lol.

I’m behind on posting pics this season. I haven’t got out a ton but we’ve had good success for the hunts we’ve been on. And sea duck hunting is awesome!

It’s a Common Eider. Banded earlier this year in Gloucester Massachusetts. I’ve got a pretty good story about it. I’ll dig up my Facebook post and copy it here.
