Well, I tell you what, give me a week or two using this set on my pistol exclusively so I can make sure it holds up to a fair amount of use, and I'll see what I can do.

What kind of grips are on the 238? Are they wrap around grips or are they panels like the 1911?

Very nice, but, I don't think they'll hold up too well. I read about some others recently that sell them for display guns and won't guarantee them if used on shooters. The recoil and handling messes up the scales and they start falling off.

I'd be interested in hearing your outcome as well.

I've got a set that my wife actually bought me from another guy (off ebay) that I've got around 500 rounds through and they still look good... so we'll see.

I'll wear them at the USPSA match Saturday.

They put it on boots and don't have much of a problem, so I can't imagine they'll be too bad. Plus, from what I read, they tend to wear-IN rather than wear-OUT.

Time will tell.
