I didn't guide her at all, she put the cameras up back in september and did it all herself..

She actually seen this buck on a high line cut about 500 yards west of where she shot him. she first saw him at 250 yards and wasnt comfortable with the shot so she went east and tried to cut him off to a clear cut, she set down and got her gun up and not 5 mins here he came, she bleated at him to stop and shot him at about 85 yards with a .243,

you should of seen this deers lungs, they were mush.. he still went 100 yards, but left a very good blood trail..

but no guiding there, she did it all her own..

This is her second buck ever to kill in about 8 years of hunting, she shot her first one when she was 12, it was a tiny 6 point, and has passed alot of nice deer since then to shoot something like this.. I rough scored him at 142"

If I remember right, didn't your sis win one of the ODW essay contests, and get to go to NM on a pronghorn hunt?

Well.....maybe I need her to guide me. Sounds like she is doing it right and a fine hunter. I'd be proud of her.

Nice bucks guys and gals. I would be glad to have any of them on my wall. I shot wild boar this evening. 30.06 with reloads, 165 grain Sierra Game Kings. One shot at 94 yards piled him up like a sack of taters.
