I get 18 in my diesel I thought that was pretty fantastic.

I get about 16 with my 6.0 Powerstroke.

I get usually 15-17 on the highway depending on speed. Turnpike at 77-78 is lower, 65 is higher-end. If ind is blowing anywhere but behind me, fuggedabouddit. Wind in the face, I'm looking at 13 or so. UGH!

Me too. 'Cept when I'm pulling a load and then she's got a drinking problem .

Now, if I were really worried about fuel mileage, I'd get my 30 mpg, '70 VW Bug out of mothballs, do a bit of cosmetics and back on the road .

You went the wrong way! I went from 23-24 in a 227hp 4cyl turbo to 25+ in a 342hp V8!

I always do a full vehicle check before I travel(tires/oil/etc). I can get 450 miles on an 18 gallon tank...
