Nah, you shoulda just got a Ford. My dad's F150 4 door V8 has gotten 18.1 as an overall average since he bought it. He gets over 16 mpg while pulling his boat. 21-22 when running empty down the road.

The new Chevy's get better than that with the 5.3 I know a few people getting 20's on average pulling a load.



I got a new best in my 3/4 ton today. 20.5 mpg on a haul down to ponca city.

Oklahoma Natural Gas in Clinton is priced at that. However its a slow fill so in 15 minutes you get a partial fill up.
