This movie was awesome. Made me think, laugh and cry. It Really put certain things in perspective for me and made me ball like a baby since i have a daughter. The Casting Crowns song is amazing also. I would really like to get my hands on that resolution.

It is a great presentation of the duties that all men are called to. It hit my wife most. Her father growing up was the definition of these men. Took her to dinner and made the same agreement with her as done in the movie. Deacon of our church and great father to her. About a year before she and I met, he got back into his old lifestyle of drugs and alcohol, she was 19 at the time and had a younger sister that was 3. He basically threw everything away, got divorced, lost his business, and basically gave up on life. Alcohol finally killed him 3 years ago and he never got to know my lil' sister in law or our two kids.

This movie depicts that that no one is perfect and unless we as men have a strong accountability not only to God, but to a group of God fearing men and are totally honest with ourselves, God and these other men we will stumble. My FIL is a prime example of just how hard you can stumble.

Worth watching, believer or not, all men are called, no, needed to be husbands and fathers that lead and mentor there family. I struggle everyday to be the father I am called to be, but with Gods help and guidance I can be that man.

Yes, it is a constant struggle, but one worth enduring.

I'm no candidate for the father of the year award, but I do try to live a Christian life and prove to my wife and daughters what a REAL man is. I don't drink, I don't smoke, or dip, or chew, nor do I abuse any kind of drug(s). My bad habit that I wish I could get a handle on and quit altogether is my foul, filthy mouth. I swear...I've got a mouth like a sewer and a temper to match. :grumble:

I have the EXACT same struggles...I'm fine at home, but put the uniform on and it's a complete change. I do curse like a sailor at work. I'm NOT proud of it at all......My temper is not too bad, but I have no tolerance for turds at work. I tell them once, then I do it for them....grrrrr My blood pressure is up just thinking about work. On the flip side, I was told last week that I will be getting a '12 Dodge Charger in about a month....:police2:.......:burnout:......:hyper:
