I am hosting my own recycling event. Any unwanted ammo can be dropped by my home. PM me for details.

In the spirit of environmental management, they should reduce, reuse, then recycle. So the ammo would be best distributed to those who will use it before it is deconstructed and recycled.

I am just guessing, but I would say it mostly comes confiscated loaded weapons.

i'm wondering if it would be wrong to set up at the next event with a sign saying "buying ammo". i'd love to score an ammo box of 06 match ammo for 10 bucks! the people bringing it in were just gonna give it away anyway.

I work for the city,IT in their radio shop actually, and fix the pc's in the PD's cars, I'll ask an officer tomorrow.

We did this in Tulsa a couple of weeks ago, I was half tempted to park outside and offer to buy ammo by the pound.
