Just watched an old episode of Pawn Stars.A man walk into The Pawn Stars place to sell a Coke Machine. Said it had been in his family for decades. Which I find funny because the one selling it was Rick's brother Ron Dale from American Restoration . Then he goes right back to Rick to have it restored. How messed up is that?

Never had any respect for them to begin with. Call in an expert. "Yeah, that's real - worth about $5000". Rick? "I'll give you $750".

My kids and I play a game to see how close they lowball people after one of their "experts" give them a value.

I know it's all put on like all of the other shows like it, but it's still kind of sad.

There was/is a big controversy over the Mary Ford Les Paul that they bought also. In addition there have been many reports of the show being setup with things coming in for purchase. Another guitar that was brought in on an earlier episode turned out to be one that had been hanging in the Cowtown Guitars store that they use the "expert" for. The guy who brought it in also works there.

It's TV. It's not real.
