In my estimation, if you were lucky enough to find consecutive numbered Mosins, then they are likely to be brand new, as in never issued. For consecutively numbered Mosins to go out into the field and someday find their way back together is an astronomically unlikely event.
One possibility, equally unlikely, is that you could get consecutively numbered rifles, but different years of manufacture. The Soviets used their numbers over again each year.
Samco Global Arms has the option to purchase their surplus rifles in consecutive numbers, but it doesn't look like it's an option on their Mosins. You may want to drop by Big Boy's and see what they have. From what I understand, they have crates of them.
