I have in the past recieved fast shipping and at least passable service from CTD, but this last year, they have gotten several orders wrong/in complete or triple charged me for shipping, Not to mention the multiple warehouse issues when buying various items and being gouged that way. But this last week has taken the cake. Order some 7.62x39 in stock at gasp a fair price- email that it was backordered and card refunded-order some from another company same night after sending an email to cancel order (to be safe refund had all ready been processed), get the ammo the next day and card charged and my other ammo order from other company comes in. ok tough to complain that I managed to find ammo, but I'm on a budget. So now the last 2 days

Order 22lr in stock order is processed/charged etc. Get an email 9 hours later saying backorderd-no biggie cancel ammo portion of order send rest-EXCEPT they charged me the full price of shipping-yet to be refunded that. (oh and even 2 hours after i was told it was back order was still showing in stock)

Yesterday- order 22lr AMMO literately within 5 minutes of it appearing in stock. order it then call to verify- yep good to go. 1hr ago get an email that drop shipper is out of stock but the rest of my order is being processed (1 box of 12 gauge slugs) with the FULL $17 shipping charge. I understand things are hectic-but if you cannot manage your own inventory then do not start dealing with drop shippers.

So now i understand why everyone was griping about CTD during the 2008/09 gun scare. I am done doing business with them.

I've done a fair amount of bidness with CTD over the past couple of years but their recent profiteering has been shameful. I guess I won't trash them too badly because I can imagine that every company in this business has to be in total bedlam nowadays. But I doubt I'll darken the door of their website any time soon.

Some of us will remember, but most will through principals out the window when there's an opportunity to either make, or save a little cash... Sad, but very true

Sad. I suppose that is one way to describe it if one thinks with their heart instead of their brain.

An economist though would describe the behaviour as a rational economic decision.
