Two of my all time favorites. Satch really inspired me when I first started playing guitar. Taught me that you can be melodic while still tearing up the fretboard.

April Wine is just awesome. They wrote technical songs with great hooks.

Lady Gaga. Whatever her real name is (Lady Gaga the performer is hugely OVERrated). My wife was watching something about her one day and it was showing her dressed like a normal person, playing piano and singing. She's actually a very talented individual. She has a beautiful voice and is talented with at least a piano. She could be a respected artist in the industry if she wanted to, all on her own. She doesn't need the extremely weirdo persona in order to be successful. Unfortunately, that's what gets attention and that's what keeps her paychecks rolling in.
