Forgot to add my modern nominees.

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. They are incredible. Not only is she smoking hot, she can play the organ, piano and guitars. Oh yea, she's a great singer too. Saw them at the Cain's a few months ago and it was a show to remember.

Joe Bonamassa. I have watched him grow up and go from child prodigy to full out guitar god. The guy is a road dog, plays a real 1959 Les Paul on tour, and turned himself into a good singer. He has built such a good following because he tours nonstop. I've been going to his shows for at least 10 years. Every time he comes to OKC or Tulsa I make sure I catch him.

If you don't know these people,.. you're missing out.

It wasn't serious. I saw someone else named the "king of sarcasm" in another thread and decided to give him/her a run for their money.

How about, The Band? As in Robbie, Levon and company. Respected by their peers but I never understood why they didn't have a bigger following.
