If I was an Israeli - try to deal squarely with the neighbors around me that are justifiably pissed. Seriously, read some Harrettz, the Israeli newspaper - there are plenty of Israeli voices trying to get along, and buffer the strong arm wing of the Iraeli government. There's actually more division and logical discussion in Israel than there is here. Our version gets "filtered" a bunch.

If I was a Palestinian - I'd either be launching rockets, or trying to garner support of the rest of the world to try to ease the untenable position Gazans have. Someone in this thread compared it to Indians bombing us to get land back. That's a few years past, but for comparison - the Palestinians are kept on the reservation, caged in, with zero prospects to better their life. What do they have to lose?
It's Israel's fight, I guess my biggest objection is that they do their deeds with our money, and brag to the world about how they call the shots. Kinda like a punk kid with a big, tough brother.

Well, Jews and Palestinians lived in that area for centuries without near the violence the last 60 years has seen. You can't really import a country full of foreigners, evict property owners, and take over a land without some folks getting their feelings hurt. If I had the deed to Dad's house and an Israeli family was living in it, or building a house where my olive trees once grew, I'd be a ticked-off hombre.
I don't know why so many folks can't see that side of it.

Tell me - you're a Palestinian, say...20 years old, all grown up in a refugee camp. What are your plans? How are you going to get ahead in the world? Angry? Why? Happy? Content?

Well, that's one plan, I guess. Not exactly constructive, but it does allow for flippant dismissal of a serious question. Better to demonize the Palestinians, thereby justifying any action against them, rather than giving the matter any deeper thought.

Had radical clerics tell him America and Israel are one in the same. Gets his news from Al-Jezeera, high school education.
