I guess that I'm missing the advantage of buying this product over factory loads at basically the same price. What is the draw?

Huh? FM is cheaper than buying ammo at say, Wally World or the local range. 9mm FMJ at less than $10 per 50 rounds is pretty darn good to me, especially if you can catch a deal on free or reduced shipping. I also like the convenience of having the UPS guy bring it to my door.

I'm just saying that if you aren't buying local, you can find factory loads at or near $200/1000. I do not trust reloads commercial or private so maybe that's why I'm struggling to reconcile the minimal savings.

I buy the new stuff from FM; not the reloads, but I have tried them in the past with no problems, it's just that their new ammo is just a tiny bit more $ than the reloaded stuff

Sounds like Freedom is G2G, how's the shipping cost?

Sent from no where
I've shot 100s of rounds of 9mm, 45 acp and 223 from them. NO problems and good reloadable brass too! You can get free shipping on your first order AND if you use a different email address with each order that repeats. Plus, they often have free shipping weekend deals, just signup for their email newsletters and watch for the no shipping specials.

I just picked up some of their 168gr BTHP (I think they call them HPBT) for my .308 and a variety of .223. Picked up a new client and have not been to the range yet to test them (or the Norma 150gr 308's I bought for $15 per box at Midway) yet. Will report when I do.

The free shipping and no sales tax makes Freedom hard to say no to.

I haven't shot any of their reman stuff yet, but so far my 10mm 1911 likes their new 10mm ammo better than any other brand I've shot through it. I have a box of their 300 blackout sitting in my office waiting for me to shoot as well. Hopefully it'll run just as well.
How does it perform fps?

I just received my first order of Freedom Munitions ammunition - a mixed order of new and remna ammo.
So var no problems but today will be an all FM shooting day so I'll report back later.
