The armadillos have been destroying my yard recently. Killed one two days ago and another tonight.
Was in my people of Walmart clothing tonight grilling wings after dark with the headlamp when another of the nasty bastiges showed up.
Had to run in, grab a pistol and hand light. It got chased under the deck by the dog. Which is the reason for the headlamp.
Wife was laughing and said a pic was in order. [emoji30]

Henry .22 mag on the first pic, .22 LR Ruger Mark III Hunter in the second.

LOL, don't want to attract them!
"Use an effective castor oil-based repellent to drive armadillos out and to prevent them from digging for food on your property. Castor oil is an all-natural oil that penetrates the ground, and repels armadillos in two ways: spoils the food sources (insects, grubs, etc.) underground, making them unpleasant to eat."

Or just keep shootin' 'em... :drunk2:

Our yard is a tad over 3 acres In the middle of thousands of uninhabited acres. The cost would be prohibitive. We can only control, never do away with.

Grilling wings.
Let me figure this out.... Big guy outside with headlamp on his head lives on acreage not enough money to afford good lighting I suppose.
Probably why he is grilling the tiny part of birds.
That is mostly bone and skin..
A nice sized critter comes up to the property ..WOW! There is a lot of meat on that and I should not waste any of it .
Get the .22!!!!
POW!
Get me a sharp knife so I can clean this critter.
We be eatin' good tonight honey!!

That's the way I see it going down.
