Oh, but each of the networks had their reporters there waiting on Trump to utter something partisan political in his speech so they could scream to the heavens about violations of the Hatch Act.
Guess, what, he gave a very good speech focusing on historical aspects of the holiday and thwarted them once again.

Somebody on here (dlmcm?) has mentioned that he only has broadcast TV. It was on all the cable news plus c-span, but wasn't it also on PBS? If not, some of you guys missed a real doozy. Can you stream it? Not with dial-up you can't. Some people wil forever wonder what he actually said from John Glenn, to Aunt Jemima, to that guy that invented the acordian. Nothing purely political or objectionable. Better than I imagined it would be.
NBC has their own Independence Day celebrations airing. Pretty good so far.
Wasn't me. We watched it all, and then grilled some excellant steaks! Loved it! Now, looking forward to watching the networks try to spin it their way.
I guess I don't remember it right then. The guy also had dial-up.
