Pickup pistol case

I saw a revolver and gun safe for sale in classifieds and got to wondering. Do I need a pistol safe that anchors to seat? How many of you use one when you can't take your pistol with you? (e.g. Dr office or school)

I used one several years ago, but unfortunately when I traded the car in I forgot to get the pistol safe out of it. That car was used up, the pistol safe probably got crushed with the car at a salvage yard somewhere.

Oh yes, still have it. I don't remember why I stopped carrying it in the car but I had, otherwise I might have forgotten about it.

Get a better doctor's office. I catch folks coming to the office all the time and it is a conversation starter. Shoot, even got the doctor to buy 1, 1 of the secretaries also. Still working on the other girl.

I had a Tuffy brand under seat lock box. Honestly it was a pain the the rear. I didn't have a choice though it was in a soft top Jeep.

Get a lockbox for your vehicle. Door pockets, consoles and glove boxes are not secure areas to store firearms unless you want to contribute the the thousands of firearms stolen from vehicles every year.

I have a lockbox under the seat of my car, is it annoying to use? Yes, but it beats leaving a pistol in the glovebox or just laying under the seat when going somewhere I can’t carry a gun.

I've got a lockbox in my truck, too, tied with a cable to the seat mount.

Trying to remember the last time I used it... it's been a LONG time.

Also agree, get a better doctor.
