I just paid ninety-seven smackers for a tank of gas and damn near fifty for a 1/2 sheet of plywood.

My next address may be the poor house or the nervous hospital....

At present I'm driving a Prius and can't even remember the last time I filled up the tank, I use the battery around town. I was thinking of purchaisng a new Tacoma v6 but am thinking right now it would be foolish because there is no bargaining on the price, doc fees are $399 and then I'll have to increase insurance on a second car etc, etc. Things are os uncertain since the Chinaman got into OUR Oval Office-and he is the bet they had?

I only drive my diesel pickup about once a week to keep it in good shape or when I need to haul something because diesel prices are insane right now. I seen it at Love's on 89th and 35 yesterday for $3.73 a gallon. I bought an old Dodge Durango to run around in but it doesn't get very good mileage either so I'm staying home a lot more.

Deep in the Creek County woods.
Don't feel too bad. I just paid $92.00 for a little over a half tank...28 gallons.

$50 for a 1/2 sheet of plywood? Was it some special type of plywood? Holy crap!
I don't know much about grades of plywood, but it was $42.56 + tax.

Sorry Pedo Joe's oil prices have hit Jackson County.

My mother was born in Mangum as was her 5 brothers and sisters. My Grandfather is on one of the founders headstones downtown.
All my Mangum relatives are in the Willow-Brinkman cemetery, but I have a cousin still in El Dorado and down in Quanah.

Neat part of the state.
