The 14 year old was already on probation for robbery......Yea I think when the old man caught them trying to sneak out the first time he should have whooped em both and maybe they would not have been so keen to try it again.

After reading the news story I am appalled the judge hasn't sent the 14 YO to a program that works in his area. Any old program won't necessarily work as some are effectively advanced crime schools due to unsupervised contact with other "students".
