I’d assume it’s because 3.5 Turkey loads are the biggest thingsmost people have shot. 2 3/8 oz of lead is @1040 grains.

Were I really rolling in the dough, there's a 700AHR, a 600 Overkill and some other stuff coming up on Rock Island Auction next month. Sure the rifle is 10 grand and a cartridge is like 50 bucks, but a 700AHR firing a 1000 grain 70 cal solid just sounds like a blast.

Picked up the Walther PDP F series 3.5" today. I had the 4" but decided I wanted the shorter barrel version.

6 surplus 30rd 5.56 magazines.
1 AR15 ambidextrous charging handle.

For anyone interested I found the 30rd mags at the pawn shop in Bristow for $5 each.
