Okay, I can't hold out.... I picked this up at auction for just a stupid good deal IMHO. And @adamsredlines is the only person I know with a 458 Lott. I might have to acquire one now.

Were I really rolling in the dough, there's a 700AHR, a 600 Overkill and some other stuff coming up on Rock Island Auction next month. Sure the rifle is 10 grand and a cartridge is like 50 bucks, but a 700AHR firing a 1000 grain 70 cal solid just sounds like a blast.

Ain't no thang, I bought ammo first then the gun. 19 rounds in the box because first owner shot his rifle and said hellllll no. I bought quite possibly the worst rifle for a big bore concerning ergonomics and recoil management but it's not nearly as bad as people made it out to be.
I mean it's terrible, unbearable, the recoil will blow the lungs right out of you! You should sell me that ammo at a loss to save your health!!!!
For reference, this is Hornady Lever evolution from an 1895 at the same target at the same distance.
It'd be hard to sell at a loss. Paid 500 all in for the whole pile.
Picked up the Walther PDP F series 3.5" today. I had the 4" but decided I wanted the shorter barrel version.
