Dollar General and our local grocery store were both sold out of candy this morning. I ended up buying some fixings for fajitas at the store, and I made her supper tonight. I also bought a box brownie mix so she didn’t have to bake anything from scratch this evening. Unfortunately, she didn’t find any humor in it, and the box is still on the counter.
Our anniversary is on the 19th so being the tightwad I am I’ve combined Valentines Day and our anniversary into one event.

Prime Rib, loaded baked potato, green beans and strawberry cheesecake. Valentines card and flowers. The wife's happy.

Because of the weather predicted today......I took my honey out for dinner on the motorcycle yesterday. It was a really nice trip on a very nice day. I even offered to let her squeeze my weenus...............look it up.
Yes Sir, I was just amazed we made it work out. Were both on call this week, as soon as we walked out the door both our phones went to ringing.
