You lost me at ketchup. Ketchup on a hotdog is just un-American.
Think it's a California type thing. Well, at least most of the California natives that I've known put ketchup on 'em.

This was also a thing when I lived in Utah --- well, not my thing.
I know oklahomans that put ketchup on their steak...
A "California" type thing is this: The Hot Dog will be a plant based non-meat atrocity, and they will not have mustard or ketchup, they will top it with Avocado and some weird Tofu stuff and some fancy seeds as well as riced califlower and bean paste.
It will also be Organic, Vegan, sustainably harvested by a crew paid a $25 an hour living wage and grown in a sustainably manner in a low water environment, free of pesticides as well as fertilizers. ALL crews will be ILLEGAL ALIENS using fake ID's with someone else's Social Security number.
No tractors using petroleum based fuel such as diesel, gasoline, propane, or such allowed, it will be a solar powered tractor and the trucks used to transport and such will also be solar powered.
There will be weekly audits by the Whackyfornia to ensure complaince with the 8,325 page manual of laws and regulations to control strict compliance with whatever the Goobernor Gabin Nuisance and his cronies demand.
There will also be 349 permits and licenses required to grow, tranport and to sell and serve the hotdogs.
There will be another 184 pages of permits and licenses required of the washing cleaning sanitizing of the food service places to ensure there are no cooties or germies. There will also be strict compliance that no peanuts or other nuts will be allowed within 1,000 feet to protect those will allergies. And of course, all waste water must be recycled. There wil be NO plastic bags, or paper bags, bring your own, to get the hot dogs to go for home consumption. Of course this also means NO straws or plastic knives forks or spoon, and NO napkins either!
Of course, this WON'T be $1.50. Due to the increased cost of life in Whackyfornia, the cost will be $14.95 plus a sales tax of 23.5%.
Absolute obeyance to all this will give the Goobener Grabin Nuisance a hard willie, conversely he will also get a willie when someone does not toe the line and obey as this gives him the liberal obligation to punish the lawbreakers.

Salmonella doesn't generally get onto vegetables, especially ones sealed to the environment like onions and garlic and such.
Playing with turtles, cracking raw eggs (or washing them and letting them sit), and just being a dirty bird and not washing your hands and then playing with other people's food is generally the culprit.
E.coli??? Now that is straight up a gut bug...you get an E.Coli infection from eating sh*t and only from eating sh*t. lol, usually it's from "Organic" whatevers that people use natural fertilizer (sh*t) on to be "organic" -- "Organic" strawberries grown with real poop on them and you eat them without washing them...num nums. Dysentery is awesome!
