It may have been a blessing in disguise as hollowed out that tree is. Could have been a widow maker when you least expected it or worse, one that crippled you. I would be glad it's gone, I'm sure @THAT Gurl could give you some insight on that.

This morning, the stoplights at the BA and Aspen were out, as were the lights at Aspen and Albany. When I just went through a few minutes ago, they were all working. Around 1pm, the only lights I saw working normally on 61st were at Garnett; the rest, from Aspen to 169, were either flashing red or out completely.
Kinda makes me wonder what kind of Charlie foxtrot it’s going to be around 5pm…
We use to take generators around and charge the batteries up every so often but we never had as many to go down at one time like some of the bigger cities and usually they were back up after 4 hours except once had one down for 12 hours due to lines down and another for 16 hours due to truck wreck and burned all the wiring inside the pole so had to wait on a crew to arrive with new wiring and replace it and get everything wired in.
Now you can take your generators around and charge all of the EVs that are dead! Gotta be a few Tesla owners saying "you mean I can't go anywhere?" Nope. If out of gas, get your buddy to bring you a can then drive to gas station. Good luck with your buddy bringing you a EV charger!
In ten years, that will be less of an issue.
