Most of the QT's out of Tulsa are nice. South of Tulsa like Glenpool, Jenks, Bixby, Etc... are all pretty nice.
If you are going down 75 to Okmulgee/Henryetta the lowest gas price around is in Preston at the Valero station.
But not the best place to stop for food.

QTs in Tulsa can be good/bad, depending on location. I often find myself at 21st and SW Blvd, that's a good one. The other is on 71st at Olympia. Interesting to be sure.

Most of the Casey’s in Oklahoma aren’t new. They bought out a chain (Circle K, IIRC), so a lot of them are converted older stores. They have been building a bunch of new stores, though.
Most generally, when gas station sells, the tanks are close to their end of use as well as the dispensers and product lines. They purchase them much less than you'd think.

We need a buc ee’s here in Oklahoma, they have it all.
Buc ee's does indeed have it all. Including crowds of people. Those places have become a destination for sure.
Gas prices aren't bad at the ones I have been to (Fort Worth and Melissa, TX), but their food prices are high.
BBQ sandwiches and burritos are over $10 for some.
...all that said, I still tend to stop in from time to time. They are about the cleanest convenience store I have ever been to.

I made the mistake of stopping at one yesterday. The line of cars was all the way out onto I40. It was a madhouse.
When i passed the one at Sieverville ( the biggest, until the one in Florida opens) I just kept right on going.

2. Their roller grills are not behind the counter
Really? Ive not run into that at any Tulsa QT. However, I've stopped driving rideshare so I don't know if any of the stores I used to frequent have had to do that. The ones in BA still have the roller grills out in the open.
4. Free of homeless bums and beggars
I swear, it's like QT (or maybe the City of Tulsa) assigns one or two homeless people to each and every QT!
5. Most importantly, the gas is 60 cents a gallon CHEAPER.

Traveled Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina. $ 3.15 - 3.25 per gallon compared to $ 3.75- 3.80 in Tulsa
At least some blame can be laid at the feet of the government, in the form of gas and other taxes.

Last time I was at the Tulsa 11th & Utica QT the parking lot had no less than 20 junkies hanging around. One harassed me for money going into the store and cussed me for not giving him money. He approached me again ranting as I was unlocking the truck to leave and I half drew my 1911 and I said " leave me alone or get shot" he stumbled off cussing threats.
Guy parked next to me said, " I offered to shoot him too, he might hit the bullet lottery today at the rate he is going"

I’m not saying anything about that, I’m just saying that Casey’s bought out Circle K and rebranded a bunch of their stores as Casey‘s.
