This reloading thing keeps sucking me in further. A chronograph seems to be the next logical move. Can you guys point me in the right direction?

Just get the CED unless you have some REAL deep pockets then there are other options out there. I have and know several folks that have the CED and have nothing but good to say about them. My problem with the Chrony brand is if you screw up you just shot the brains and it's done! the brains of the CED are on the table next to you and the stuff you may happen to put a bullet thru are reasonable to replace. I've destroyed a Shooting Chrony with the sabot from a black powder rifle. Sent it back and they repaired and upgraded it for a very reasonable cost.

I've had an old Chrony for about 25 or 30 years now.
Best? Not hardly, but it's worked for me for a long time now.

There are some nice options out there now.
To be honest one where the electronics wasn't sitting out in front of the gun would make sense.
I'm not aware of any clunkers out there.

I have a Shooting Chrony Beta Master, electronics sit on the table and it has more features than I need every time I use it I am scared to death I am going to shoot it, but it hasn't happened.... yet. I like it nice and compact easy to use the basic features don't know about the advanced ones haven't used it yet the manual is pretty thick for what it is.
