Thanks for the info! I paid the ransom when I built a SBS, but once again feel the urge to throw money at the Govt. for the "privilege" of owning a suppressor. Looks like the TAC 16 could be an option if cleaned between applications. Or, start with the lower cost .22LR can and stamp, then graduate to bigger and more expensive options, like a can that could cover my 458 SOCOM AR and G21.

Choices, choices.... Cough....Money, money.

.22 should use a take apart can. once you start really shooting it, it will need cleaned. the spectre has been shot with .223 at full auto without exploding. please do not try it, but someone can link the video. the 5.7 is a viable intermediate cartridge. now a .22 can on a ar with a conversion is a very valuable learning tool.

as long as it comes apart for cleaning any .22 can will be fine.
A tac65 is going to be heavy, but is is the cheapest / most calibers that you can still pull apart to clean.

I have both of those cans and the tac 16 is too heavy and big for a 22 pistol. I had the exact same thoughts when I first started buying cans. Get one can for your 22 and another one for your 223 and you will be much happier. Im going to meter mine next week with a B&k sound meter. Should be interesting.
