So does that infer there would be a refund/reward when someone used guns and/or ammo to STOP a violent crime?

I know the answer but I subscribe to risk/reward methodologies.

OK...I'll STFU now

Yeah, taxing legal gun and ammo sales is a great idea. Because we all know that gangbangers buy their guns at legitimate gun stores and would be happy to pay this tax.

They probably have a way to stop that. Everyone in IL has to have a FOID (Firearm Owners ID Card) to purchase firearms or ammunition in Illinois. They will just make it illegal. Which will cut gun crimes down, because criminals obey laws. Wait...my head just got locked in and endless loop and exploded.

The WX that way does not look for good for this weekend. I may have to drive through IL rather than fly over. Not happy about that. Fill up and have a snack while becoming Un-American before St Louis, pull over at the "Welcome to Indiana" Sign. I wonder if we could get an amendment to the constitution to allow IL to secede from the union like Texas has. It might cure a lot of problems, and we could make a choice of which way to go and not put up with them. Tennessee has Yingling beer. I might be forced to go across that way and make a stop on the way back.
