I used Sports World once for a pistol I was having trouble with. It seemed reasonably priced, but they were slow.. (I know, not a glowing recommendation.)

** Realistically I was new to firearms and was probably just impatient in having to wait a week or two to get it back.

I've got a business card on a guy in BA who works from his converted garage that does good work. The card is in my car and I'll post the info later today.

I was under the impression that David Saye was the gunsmith and that he is more than just a parts changer. Is it possible that there’s more than one guy over there doing gunsmithing?

Its been 2 or 3 years since I used McCools and I can't remember the gunsmiths name for sure. But he repaired what the gunsmith and Sportsworld messed up.
