I will leave a link to the CT law on what is legal and not and I read it and seems you can't legally have a preban lower unless you were the original owner of it and you would have had to register it by 2014.

You can't transfer it to someone else ,,in the law it stated you would need to make it inoperable or sell it to a licensed gun dealer.

And they went on in that above link to ban parts of "assault Weapons"
It almost looked like if you had a blind magazine on an AR you could be legal. Until they began talking about the parts of firearms.

If you are military out of state and move into state you can have one and you have 90 days to get it registered.

If you are joe blow and move into state you must get rid of it to a licensed gun dealer or make it into junk inoperable.
You guys read it and correct me if i am wrong.. but that is what I got
