If you watch the video closely ,it looks like the gun flies out of the guys hand as the car door bounces back into him. Not saying the LEO's weren't justified.
Perp ventilated & cops go home safe = a good day. Maybe not so good for Ogle & KFOR as they will probably get criticized for the coverage. No problem by me, though.
Nah, Ogle’s just a talking head; it’s the big shots behind the scenes that said to keep the cameras rolling. Of course, if the heat from “the community” gets to hot, they might throw him and the others with him under the bus to save their own skins.
I didn’t see the other stations and how detailed their coverage was, but they normally wouldn’t shot a guy actually getting shot; I’d think. It all happened pretty quick. Good on that cop in the sorta-weaver stance who is shown making the right decision in a tense situation.
Channel 4 had a closer shot than channel 9. I am not going to link it here.
