I don't own one like that but I own or have owned several suppressors and a few integrally suppressed barrels. The positive is that as you have pointed out it will be a one stamp gun that will have the length of an SBR with an attached suppressor.
A minor con would be that it makes cleaning...
I know exactly what you mean! I can’t even buy a complete rifle without factoring in the parts I will have to replace or add to make it acceptable to me. I’m a big Daniel Defense fan and they make some really solid rifles but even if I buy one of theirs I know I have to replace the trigger...
I’ve always been a .308 guy but recently decided to branch out a little and bought a rifle chambered in 6.5CM. It has a 24” barrel and a 1:8 twist. Any of you load for this caliber and if so do you have any pet loads you would share for me to try?
Somewhere in the $1k range sounds about right to me. I bought a used mak90 about 10 years ago at the Tulsa gun show for about $350. I changed the necessary parts to make it 922r compliant so I could put a regular pistol grip on it. I ended up selling it a year or two later and still kick...
I was looking back through some pictures on my computer and found this one from a few months ago when I got all the parts in to start a new rifle build. It felt like Christmas morning as a kid looking at all these parts getting ready to put them together. I've probably built a dozen or so in...

I've been thinking about buying these two products for awhile to make one of my AR's completely ambidextrous, but am having trouble pulling the trigger since I've never got to see them in person. Any reviews of either product?
I currently have a BCM gunfighter mod 4 that I really like and...
I agree, I've bought an aac sdn-6 that's currently in ATF/NFA purgatory.
Moneybags, thanks for the load info, once I get the best load worked up for my gun if it's different from yours I'll send you what I find.
With a 1/7 twist you would expect it to like the heavier bullets (actually length is much more important than weight, and obviously heavier bullets are typically longer). I think the sierra 77gr (with cannelure) is what the .mil uses in their mk262 load from black hills. It pulls double duty...
Thanks, the only thing I'm not happy about is I bought that surefire mini-scout a couple months ago right before they changed the head to 200 lumens. Mine is the "older" 120 lumen. I wish I had realized they were changing them and I would have waited to buy it.
Somewhere on youtube there's a video of a guy (former marine scout-sniper if I recall correctly) disassembling a 700 bolt using the last loop of his shoestrings. It's an interesting watch.

Please excuse the crappy cell phone pic, but I finally got this gun set up like I wanted and am pretty excited to get to take it out to see how it shoots. It's a Daniel Defense rifle, you can probably tell most of the rest from the pic.
