    Has OSA been hacked???????

WARNING check your bank accounts!!!!!! I received an email today that said,"Thank you for purchasing an account upgrade at Oklahoma Shooters." I did NOT authorize this. On 2/7/2023 I got an email from Support Dev offering a "discount" on renewing my account. It referenced an incorrect amount...

Finished full restoration of 1975 Honda CB 360t

Good job! +1 on the improperly seated throttle cable. It could also be that it needs adjusted so it will have a tiny bit of slack when you aren't giving it throttle. Here is a good resource for information and help with your Honda: https://www.vintagehondatwins.com/forums/forum.php

    FB mp traders! LOL!

In the past 2 years I have sold 5 motorcycles on FB MP and I believe it was a lot better than Craigslist; and FREE!!!. At least on Facebook I can do a bit of research to try to determine who I am dealing with, BEFORE I respond to any messages. Buying on MP is a lot more difficult because of...

    Big Cats

In the early '70's I worked at a Peabody coal mine between Nowata and Vinita. The late night shovel workers often told stories about seeing mountain lions while they were working. I was pretty skeptical. One winter about 4:30 in the afternoon(The sun was still shining.) I saw a mountain lion...

Replacing all AC Power Tools with Battery Powered Tools.

I got sick of all of the battery failures so I replaced all of my Dewalt stuff with Hart. In three years of heavy use,I haven't had a single failure. I have a couple of 1/2" drills, brushless impact driver, circular saw, right angle grinder, sabre saw, flashlight that I actually use, tire...

Anyone else get bored on days like today?

I have lots of little projects to keep me busy, so I really don't get bored. Yesterday and today I installed an 800# electric hoist in the garage so it will be easier to lift one or both ends of my motorcycles. It should come in handy when I need to service the blades on my lawn mower too.

Marine Corps Plans To Get Rid Of “Yes Sir” Over Gender Neutrality Concerns

In 1968 I was addressed as "Drill Sergeant Xxxx", and I'm pretty sure it didn't have anything to do with gender identity. So, what I am saying is, I don't believe the Army has done anything different in the area of titles to suck up to the stupidity that has infected our nation and world.

    Siphoned gas and Security Cameras

They are on shelves I built in a closet. The 1080 resolution NVR has 8 cameras attached and it is no problem to touch. I would guess that it is less than 105 F. The 4k resolution NVR has 4 cameras attached and it is something under 100 F. The UPS for the system is on the other side of an...

    Siphoned gas and Security Cameras

I have two Nite-Owl systems, and am reasonably happy with them. They are hard-wired and are set up to record 24x7. They will record about 6 days before they start to overwrite old data. They are on a UPS and HDMI hard-wired to the tv in the living room and garage. They are hard-wired to my...

Age yourself by naming a store/business that no longer exists that you frequented.

My wife is still wearing the wedding ring we bought at Service Merchandise. I can't believe nobody has mentioned Safeway. Great grocery store. Somebody mentioned Kerr-McGee; I think that was Deep Rock when I worked there my senior year of high school. One of my life-long friend's family had...

I'm Looking for a 1962 Oklahoma Car Tag.

I have a regular tag on the rear, but I have the old tag on the front of my '63 Chevy PU. I left it unrestored to show the contrast of what my truck looks like compared to the old beat up license plate.

    Dadgum Methodists

Our lives have been much more spiritual since we found out that Waffle House is open on Sunday mornings. I'm pretty sure the extra large tips we leave are better spent than whatever used to get put in the offering plate at that "other" church we used to go to. We see a lot more real fellowship...

    Cars you regret selling

That is funny. The car I was happiest to see go was my '67 GTO. My GTO was a good car until I tried to turn it into a race car. .060 overbore, 12.5:1 forged TRW pistons, way too radical Isky cam and lifters, B&M modded Turbo 400, Hooker headers, and lots more stuff.

    Drones

No! Binoculars do not count. You have to be able to see the drone at all times with the unaided eye. Corrective lenses are OK, but no binoculars.
