    Car guys!!! Help!!!

I would do as dieseltech and tyro mentioned and check for junk in the intake system. I had a problem with residue in the small gap between the butterfly valve and the throttle body wall that was causing the same symptoms you have. It was caused by vaporized oil coming from the cam cover vent...

.303 Reloaders? 1.5 MOA Enfield Jungle Carbine

yes, 1895 sorry. I use hornady 139 or 140 gr(?) with IMR 4064. My data came out of the hornady book on the lower end of the charge scale. feels like i'm shooting a .223. Speaking of which, i took my sig 556 and the 1895 to the range a few weeks back and was getting better groups with the 1895...

    SBR Question

Is the name calling necessary? How old are you? Yes, we must ask which lower did you want to SBR? You said you want to SBR your pistol but also said you want to register the CAR lower. We could give better help if you clarify which you would prefer.

.303 Reloaders? 1.5 MOA Enfield Jungle Carbine

I'd love to come but i have carpet being installed. Is it iron sights only? I've never been to OKC gun club, i don't have a membership. Give me a heads up the next time they have that going on. As far as my loads, i will get the loads up here as well as some pictures of my groups. I loaded up...

I was thinking of getting a target 10/22 and was wondering how they cycled in that rifle. I'm glad to hear they worked for yours.

    Winchester .22 LR Subsonic

Has anyone else had good groups with winchester .22 lr SS? I've been getting 1/2" groups at 50 yds out of my cut-and-crowned romainian M69 trainer. This ammo seems to rival my wolf match target and and rem/eley club extra except cheaper and without all the wax. Its much better than rem SS, green...

.303 Reloaders? 1.5 MOA Enfield Jungle Carbine

I'm wondering if anyone around here is reloading .303 Brit for hunting purposes, and what kind of loads/rifle setup seems to work best as far as grouping and trajectory. I'm going to get some pictures and info to share about my Enfield No5 if there is anyone doing the same with .303 brit. I feel...

    Short Barrel Shotguns

The handbook is not better than the law. But, even "plain written law" at times takes the U.S. Supreme Court to fiqure out what it means. Therfore, I would rather depend on a legal academics' interpretation than my own. In the case of the NFA handbook, it is the ATF themselves who did the...

    Short Barrel Shotguns

I feel that directing people to the NFA handbook WAS "backing up what i'm saying". I'm not quoting the law, i'm quoting the handbook. My "friend" who i will NOT name, worked at the BATFE Dallas feild division until 1996. He could definitely be wrong but he told me the handbook is about as...

    SBR Question

"I have a CAR and was thinking of registering the lower" This tells me he plans on registering the CAR lower.

    Building my first SBR

Here is the forum thread where the letter came from. Note the guy never posted the "denial reason" letter so i don't know where that one came from. http://www.uzitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?17660-SBR-Markings-for-HK94-amp-SP89-NFA-says-NO!

    Building my first SBR

I remember reading that guys first letter where the ATF told him he did not have to mark his gun. The one you poseted must have been a follow up. If i were to mark the barrel of an uzi or AR, then what happens when the barrel is changed out? What is the gun is sold and the new owner changes barrels?

    Short Barrel Shotguns

Before you mark up your gun read chapter six of the NFA handbook. If you are not a licensed manufacturer you may not have to engrave your gun as it is an existing receiver. "CAR-AR-M16" will dissagree but you should study this yourself. http://www.atf.gov/publications/firearms/nfa-handbook/

    Building my first SBR

The law you quote can be interpreted in different ways and most likely is directed at licensed manufacturers. If the NFA handbook isn't accurate then i don't know what is. Its either someones interpretation of the confusing law or the clear explanation given by the ATF themselves in their...

    Building my first SBR

No sir, that is a common misinterpretation. You do NOT have to mark an already existing weapon. That only applies to making a new receiver from scratch or making a can etc. I have a close friend who has been dealing with NFA weapons for years and informed me on this when i was doing my uzi. I...

A more "Civil" thread about manufacturing your own silencer. Hey Dustin??????

If you build one from scratch you'd better make sure you don't have any spart parts laying around. Even an unfinished or trash baffle laying in a trash can can get you in trouble. If you mess up a baffle and have to start over, destroy it before continuing. If you forget about it and the ATF...
