Default Is this knife legal for carry in Oklahoma?

I saw one in a gun shop. It's spring loaded and shoots out the front. And when you want to close it, it springs back.

No, that would not be legal for carry in public in Oklahoma. Years ago, I actually got charged with a misdemeanor for carrying one very similar to that. It is not a particularly vigorously enforced law, but under the wrong circumstances with the wrong cop, it could land you in jail.

Thanks. It's a really, really, cool knife.

Ok trusts me to carry a firearm that holds 16 rounds. Or more.

But they don't trust me to carry an OTF auto knife.

    Brilliant.

Contact your state legislators and request they amend the law.

It simply cannot be overstated. The pathological need for the illusion of control outweighs all other factors in our society. Risk aversion is one of THE most powerful religions in modern day America. It is the people's shepherd. Without it, the flock would be lost.

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
