Hey All,

Just got in from a few days in Vegas and wanted to let you all know what was said in the Vegas local news.

A couple of nights ago while my wife and I were getting ready for dinner with friends, this came on the tv. The reporter stated that MGM hasn't released tickets to be sold for the fight because Pacquiao hasn't signed his contract. Pacquiao disagrees with the current contract and wants the original contract to sign.

There are no tickets in Vegas for this fight.

***Is this hype??** ***Is this a promotion tactic??***

I was in a "casino chip" store(Spinetties) buying vintage casino chips to add to my collection and asked the owner if MGM casino has released any commerative chips for the fight. He told me NO..............MGM casino has not. Mayweather wanted to have chips made up but MGM and The Nevada Gaming Commission and the State Gaming Control Board told him no way.....if they don't do it and if he makes his own chips they're not legal in Nevada.

Sooooooooo...is anyone getting the pay for view to watch it? I'm going to call Cox and see if they offer it.:madbox:

Sold out in 60 seconds. It will cost you $11k just to get in the building now.

You can still pay $10 though and go see the weigh-in. Thats about the best deal in Vegas.

(The main problem with Floyd not signing was in the number of seats in the venue that he wanted. They had agreed at one point to split the venue, but then he thought about it and changed his mind and wouldnt sign until he got more of the venue. They must have worked it out in his favor because he later signed.)

I'll probably watch it, so long as we're back home by then. I'll find an "alternative" source to stream. No way I'm paying $90 for a fight. I complain about paying the $40 for the annual PPP OU game.

I refuse to pay, watch or support a man who has been convicted of domestic abuse 5 times. Women beaters deserve to be in jail and not making 100 million dollars for punching people.
