20 Gauge Buckshot

Is 00 buck still the recommendation for 20 gauge HD. Now that my 870 is gonna I will be keeping the old 20 gauge stocked at home. The new walmart in Stillwater doesnt seem to stock 20 gauge buck so I may be ordering some. Whats everyone recommend, only buckshot no birdshot recommendation.

I use 000 in my wife's 20ga 870. From what I've read it's adequate for HD and I've had no trouble finding it.

I got a box of #4 buck pretty comfortable with it doing what it is supposed to, commonly found at wm. I didn't even know there was oo buck for a .20 ga

I guess I may have to visit the old walmart in Stillwater, the newer store just has a bad selection of ammunition period.

Off topic and probably dumb ? But my youth 870 is choked... Ok with buckshot?

The new wal-mart is pretty lousy about stocking ammo.....the old one is not much of an improvement either.....have you tried looking at the pawn shop south of the old wal-mart?

Best pawn might have some, John sold it, is it still worth visiting?

Last time I went over there, all I bought was a can of break free. It was a younger guy than the previous owner but was rather friendly. I believe one of the older guys is still helping out there occasionally though.
