Biscuits and gravy is a good meal no matter what time of day it is or what the weather is.
My parents had to have biscuits and gravy on the table every meal no matter what else you was having.

A country breakfast of chicken fried steak, eggs, hashbrowns, biscuits and sausage gravy and/or short stack and bottle of lipitor is my go-to!

My grandma Henry made the best biscuits I ever had and ,made them regularly as a very poor family. She and grandpa were fat but beans, cornerbead and biscuits and gravy were always on the menu, as well as squirrel the boys (my uncles) hunted. There were 11 kids, all skinny.
