.380 for me, but some may prefer the .22. Buddies wife won’t shoot anything other than a .22 as she has carpal tunnel syndrome.

In the heat of the moment I figure if you start poking holes in somebody no matter what size they might want to rethink their decision making paradigm....between the two, I`ll go with .22 just because of capacity.
I read a review about a .25 auto several years ago that said, "It may not kill the attacker, but it will definitely give you an advantage in the fist fight that will ensue." LOL!
I probably wouldn't have either one just laying around, but normally have a .380 in my pocket, so I guess that is my answer.

I never have seen the whole reason for the caliber arguments. If a guy is on PCP not much is going to stop him. If its some punk kid breaking into your house to do smash and grab. I promise you if you hit him with a few 22lr he will be wanting to go the other way in a hurry.
Agreed it takes too long to deploy the butterfly knife and nun-chucks.
