I've been looking for a .22LR pistol with a 7" or longer barrel. I've been looking at the S&W 22-A with the 7", but I would looking for something different since I have one of those with the 5.5" barrel. Any ideas?

Either would be fine. I saw this morning that Heritage makes a .22LR that has a 9" barrel. Has anyone every tried one of those? I will check out the Browning Buckmark Silhouette later today.

That Browning is awesome. I looked and the largest they sell now is a 7 1/4" barrel and it is $400+... I was looking for something $300 or less.

In my honest opinion, I would look at the Buckmark Camper and then add a Tac-Sol barrel to it.

But that would be out of your $300 range as it is ~$279 for the gun and ~$200-$240 for the Tac Sol barrel. But it would be one hell of a shooter.

I fell in love with my buckmark, then I did the spring flip for lighter trigger pull and I love it even more.
