2A chat boards disappearing

Several of us here were members of OKFAO when it suddenly shut down without warning.

Recently, another 2A board I was on called Yesterday's Weapons Forum was suddenly shuttered without a reason, and even the board's owner can't find out why the provider pulled the plug.

And it goes beyond that. Even the oldest firearms forum on the internet - Gunboards - has be taken over by an anti-2A service provider. And although Gunboards still exists, many members were banned for the most minute of infractions. Mostly for posting against the providers moronic rules.

We are being slowly silenced my friends. Do not think otherwise.

OKFAO has been dead for years. There was no point paying the fees to keep it online. Their biggest poster came back to OSA again. At least BoomerShooter and it's wealth of knowledge was absorbed by 1911Forum

About the only way I see 2A forums surviving is if they are on privately owned servers. It’s going to come to that and that hardware and bandwidth costs money.
