Sorry for the cheesy cell phone pic.

100 rounds

Bullets .15 ea
Primers .03 ea
Powder .12 ea
Brass free

Thats .30 cents a round or 30.00 per hundred.

I bought the box of 170 gr Interlocks out of the classifieds a couple of weeks ago.

Sportsmans Guide lists 150 gr Hornady Interlock at 18.95 per box of 20, thats 94.75 per hundred.

Reloading does pay off eventully.

I shoot alot of 69 gr 224 and 169 gr 308 cal Sierra bullets.
The prices are killing me, even buying them 500 or 1000 at a time. I wonder if some kind of a group buy would be beneficial?

It doesn't take all that long to pay of a reloading setup if you shoot much.
Take a lot less to get into casting.
Then you're talking sub 10 cents a round.
My 38spl plinker rounds are only around 2-3 cent a piece.

Did you mean 168 gr 308?

Sierra sells factory seconds unboxed by the pound from their store in Sedalia, Missouri and from all accounts the 168 gr is always in stock since it is by far the largest quatity of bullet they make. Most of the reasons for the seconds are cosmetic and won't disappoint. Obviously you need to inspect each to make sure, but you can save some $ if you're ever in that area anyway.

Ps. There are 41.6 168gr HPBT MatchKings to the pound :)
