300 Ultra Mag loads?

Anybody have any 300 Ultra Mag loads using a 180grain Nosler Accubond. I am trying to decide what powder to try first.

Hornady is showing max loads at 3300 FPS with AA Magpro, RL-25, and Retumbo.

This is from a 26" Rem 700 barrel.

I've had great success loading for two .300 RUMs using 95.0 grains Reloder 25 behind a Nosler 180gr Ballistic Tip. From my experience I would start there.

I had and have a handful of 300 RUM's and RETUMBO is The powder for them..
Especially with the 180's.

I asked my shoulder and it suggested Triple 7 or Pyrodex.

Thanks guys. I will have to bum a 1/7 of a pound of Retumbo from a guy at work and give that a shot. It is for a Remington Sendero 700. 26" blue barrel. I want to load a load that is ideal for elk.

Hey Bassin, I shot one of those in .338RUM a couple of weeks ago. Awesome rifle! Now I don't have any idea why I need one, I just know that I do.

But I'll probably get the 300. Seems a bit more "reasonable". And it will beat my buddy's 300 Weatherby in the ballistics tables.

Mine shot great with 92grs of rl-25 with 220 gr SMK at 3185 gps with a 30 inch barrel.
