These haven't been made for several years, but I think I want one. Does anyone here have any experience with them? I have one in .44 mag, and it's a great piece of gear. I have Supers in .44 and .454 Casull, and they also do a fine job.

Does anyone here know of one for sale?

I haven't seen one for sale(at a decent price) for over 20yrs. The .357 Redhawk was considered a failure, and dropped. To my thinking, they should have made it with a 4"bbl, and it would have sold like hotcakes. I have a friend down in Texas who has and shoot one. Some of his loads would scare a .44 Magnum, but it does no damage to the gun. They are the tanks of the .357 revolvers.

I never knew they made a .357 mag Redhawk until reading this, considering how strong the GP100 is, a .357 mag Redhawk must be quite the beast.

I love Ruger revolvers, I always wanted to try out a .44 magnum Redhawk. If they had a full length lug they would be perfect in my opinion. The same with the .454 Casull, I love the .45 Colt option.

Considering how hard to find a .357 magnum Redhawk is, if you get one for a reasonable price, it would make a fun gun to shoot that also gains in value. Can't beat that with a skunk tied to a stick.

The difference between a S&W K-frame cylinder, and that of the Redhawk .357. With a cylinder like that, its a handloaders dream!!
